    March- April: March marks the onset of spring in Nepal. During this time of the year one can witness the Rhododendron bloom in its full glory across the country. The day temperatures can vary between 20oC to 30oC during March- April. Occasional showers can also be expected during this time of the year. 

    October- December: During October to December one can expect clear skies, dry days and incredible views of the Himalayas. The temperatures may vary between 10oC to 20oC, with mercury dropping significantly during the night. 

  • Languages Spoken

    Nepali is the official language. However, English & Hindi are also widely spoken and understood with variable fluency.

  • Food

    A delectable spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is served at all the lodges. Breakfast is the combination of variety and choices from the varied cuisine. Lunch and dinner are Indian & continental cuisine.

    If you are allergic to any specific food items, please inform at the time of the booking.

  • Clothing & Equipment

    During spring (March-April), we recommend light dry fit tops, shorts or trousers, hats and sunglasses. Evenings in the mountains can get quite chilly regardless of the season. so you must always carry warm clothing along on treks. In the winter months, temperatures may drop dramatically, so please pack extra warm clothing. Mid November to early December are the cold months, mornings and evenings can be extremely chilly (extra warmers always help)

  • How To Get There

    All our Nepal trips start and end in Kathmandu. You just need to book a flight to the capital and we'll take over from there. 

  • Medication & First Aid

    It will help for you to carry some easy to access medicine on the trip, for headaches, diarrhea, constipation, and some re-hydration. powders like Electral etc. in addition to any personal medication. 

  • Internet

    Kathmandu and Pokhara hotels have good Wi-Fi available in general. Teahouses on treks offer patchy, unreliable internet at additional costs.

  • Group Size

    Maximum 12. We also offer private services in Nepal starting with 2 people

  • Money to Carry

    Nepali Rupees is the accepted form of currency. Payment in hotels, travel and airlines are made in foreign exchange. Credit cards like American Express, Master and Visa are accepted at major hotels, shops, and restaurants. However, it is advisable to change the currency and keep cash handy at all times. 

  • Tipping

    All tipping is optional and by no means mandatory, however if you feel that your staff and drivers have performed to your satisfaction, it is a great way to let them know you appreciate their efforts.
